Welcome to JustListenly. By accessing, purchasing, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. About JustListenly

JustListenly is an emotional listening service that provides anonymous, empathetic, phone-based sessions with digital personas.

JustListenly does not provide therapy, medical advice, crisis counseling, or professional mental health treatment.

If you are experiencing a crisis or thoughts of self-harm, call 988 (U.S.) or your local emergency number immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use JustListenly.

By using this service, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is accurate

  • You are legally able to enter into this agreement

3. Nature of the Service

JustListenly provides:

  • Short-form, anonymous listening sessions

  • No advice

  • No judgment

  • No therapy

  • No diagnosis

  • No treatment

You acknowledge and agree that you are using JustListenly solely for personal, non-medical emotional expression.

4. Sessions and Subscriptions

JustListenly offers:

  • One-time session purchases

  • Monthly subscription plans only

Session Lengths

  • One-time sessions include up to 3 minutes of call time

  • Subscription session credits include up to 5 minutes of call time per session

Session Credits

Session credits:

  • Do not convert to cash

  • Are not transferable

  • Do not roll over

  • Expire at the end of the applicable billing period or upon use

5. Extended Session Billing (“Continuation Mode”)

This section governs all continuation billing.

5.1 How Continuation Mode Works

Before the included session time ends, you will hear a prompt similar to:

“If you’d like to keep talking, press 1 to continue at $0.97 per minute.”

5.2 Pressing “1” = Explicit Billing Authorization

By pressing “1”, you explicitly authorize:

  • Immediate per-minute billing at $0.97 per minute

  • Automatic charges to your stored payment method

  • Continued billing until you end the call

This action constitutes affirmative, user-initiated consent.

5.3 Billing for Extended Minutes

  • Extended time is billed in full-minute increments

  • Partial minutes are rounded up to the next full minute

  • Charges may appear on your statement as:
    JustListenly — Extended Session

5.4 No Additional Card Entry Required

Your initial purchase authorizes JustListenly to charge your stored payment method for continuation mode without requiring re-entry of payment details.

6. Refunds & Disputes

Because continuation mode and session usage require explicit user consent:

  • All continuation charges are final

  • Pressing “1” is non-refundable

  • Disputes submitted through banks or payment processors may be responded to with:

    • Call logs

    • Time stamps

    • Consent records

    • System metadata

No refunds are issued for used session credits or extended minutes.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass, abuse, or threaten the listening personas

  • Attempt to bypass or exploit billing systems

  • Attempt to record, reverse-engineer, or misuse the service

  • Use JustListenly for illegal purposes

Violations may result in immediate termination.

8. Privacy & Data Storage

We may store limited data including:

  • Session metadata

  • Time stamps

  • Credit usage

  • Continuation consent records

  • Partial call audio solely for dispute resolution

We do not store:

  • Full conversations

  • Personal identifying emotional content

We protect data using industry-standard security practices.

9. No Medical, Legal, or Professional Liability

JustListenly is not a replacement for:

  • Therapy

  • Psychiatry

  • Medical care

  • Legal advice

  • Financial advice

You use this service voluntarily and at your sole discretion.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for:

  • Misuse

  • Harassment

  • Fraud

  • Chargebacks

  • Violation of these Terms

No refunds are issued for terminated accounts.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect upon posting. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
