This Privacy Policy explains how JustListenly (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you access or use our services.

By using JustListenly, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

We collect the following information when you create an account, make a purchase, or use our services:

  • Full name

  • Email address (used for receipts, confirmations, account notices, and support)

  • Phone number (required for call routing, account access, and user identification)

  • Payment information (credit or debit card details)

Payment Handling:
All payment information is processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS–compliant payment provider.
JustListenly does not store or have direct access to your full credit card number.

1.2 Call Metadata

We may store limited non-content metadata, including:

  • Call timestamps

  • Call duration

  • Session credit usage

  • Continuation billing consent records (for example, “press 1” events)

  • High-level emotional highlight tags (general themes only, such as “work stress,” “grief,” or “family pressure”)

We do not store:

  • Full conversation transcripts

  • Detailed personal narratives

  • Sensitive personal data

  • Identifiable emotional content

1.3 Audio

We do not store full audio recordings of conversations.

In rare cases, a short audio segment (such as confirmation of continuation consent) may be temporarily retained solely to resolve billing disputes or chargebacks.

Audio is never used for:

  • AI training

  • Marketing

  • Sharing with third parties

  • Behavioral analysis

  • Profiling

Temporary audio, if stored, is deleted once the dispute is resolved.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and manage user accounts

  • Deliver listening sessions

  • Enable continuation billing when authorized

  • Personalize your experience using high-level highlight tags only

  • Process payments

  • Prevent fraud and unauthorized chargebacks

  • Provide customer support

  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

3. Highlight Memory (Emotional Bookmark Feature)

To improve continuity and user experience, JustListenly may store 1–3 general emotional themes from previous sessions (for example, “work stress” or “grieving parent”).

We do not store:

  • Detailed personal stories

  • Medical diagnoses

  • Specific relationship details

  • Identifying emotional information

You may request deletion of highlight tags at any time.

4. Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS–compliant payment processor.

JustListenly does not store full credit card numbers, CVV codes, or expiration dates.

5. Data Protection

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including:

  • SSL encryption

  • Secure servers

  • Restricted access controls

  • Anonymization of emotional highlight tags

Access to personal data is limited to authorized personnel only.

6. Your Rights

You may request:

  • Deletion of emotional highlight tags

  • Closure of your account

  • Information about the personal data we hold

7. Children’s Privacy

JustListenly is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
